Ensuring functional safety is a key design objective for modern motor vehicles. Persons involved in the execution of the safety lifecycle shall have a sufficient level of skills, competence, and qualification corresponding to their responsibilities.
This means that all staff members involved in the development of safety-related E/E systems should have a fundamental understanding of functional safety and the ISO 26262 standard.
Our ISO 26262-training provides a basic understanding of
- key functional safety terms and concepts,
- the relationship between functional safety and related disciplines, such as SOTIF and cybersecurity,
- the scope of the ISO 26262 standard, as well as
- a high-level overview of the safety lifecycle according to ISO 26262.

Target Audience
Our ISO 26262 training course is tailored to employees of companies who are directly or indirectly involved in the development of safety-related E/E systems for motor vehicles and who need to gain a basic understanding of functional safety. This ISO-26262-training is suitable for people with no prior knowledge of the ISO 26262 standard.
Note: This ISO26262 training class can not and should not replace an in-depth training program for employees whose responsibilities require more extensive knowledge of ISO 26262. For this group of people, we recommend our wide range of in-depth training courses on ISO 26262.
