SOTIF Certification (ISO 21448)

Automotive safety standards require that all people who develop safety-related E/E systems have sufficient specialist knowledge. Corresponding evidence is regularly requested by customers. A certification exam is a valuable opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of ISO 21448, gained from prior training and/or professional experience.
This ISO 21448 certification examination, administered in collaboration with Technische Akademie Esslingen (TAE), is an excellent opportunity for employees to prove their SOTIF expertise in accordance with ISO 21448. Employers receive a certificate for each employee who passes the exam, which can be used as a building block for your corporate competence management program.
Target Audience
This certification is intended for individuals involved in the execution of the SOTIF lifecycle who wish to document their gained ISO 21448 expertise.

- Online examination (approx. 90 min duration)
- Multiple-choice questions, available in either German or English
Further Information
- The online exam is administered by the Technical Academy Esslingen (TAE).
- The use of a webcam is mandatory during the exam.
- Prior participation in an ISO 21448 training course, e.g., SOTIF for Automotive Professionals or SOTIF compact, is strongly recommended but not a mandatory requirement.
